We were seated immediately, but then had to wait ten minutes for someone to take our drink order. This place is family friendly and has a nice vacation vibe (tiki bar, water view, live music in the bar), but i can't say anything special about the food. There are tons of restaurants on the water in OC, and any one of them puts Harpoon Hanna's to shame. The view is decent, but it's not enough to warrant the prices when the food is so less-than-average. Ultimately, for 4 out of 5 of us to "eat" lunch, it cost $60 (which included a tip and did not include any alcohol or even sodas) and was-bar none-the worst meal I have ever had on a trip to Ocean City. Our waitress had my tacos taken off the bill, but probably only because I insisted that I wasn't going to eat it, and I certainly wasn't going to pay for it. ![]() ![]() We were the only table seated in the dining room, and there were only a few people in the bar area, so it's not like they were slammed and had to cut corners for the sake of efficiency. The fries that were supposed to come with it weren't ready on time and had to come later, as did the "homemade" coleslaw that tasted remarkably like the vinegary (is that a word?) stuff you'd find in the deli of your local supermarket. No garnish, no slaw, not even a piece of lettuce to provide some sort of minimal fluff. It was the most pitiful meal I have ever seen in a restaurant. Literally, it was served on a white, restaurant-style plate.with NOTHING else. There were 4 tiny pieces of oblong.almost perfectly rectangle (tell me it wasn't Gorton's!!!) fish on his plate. My son ordered the Fish & Chips ($14 or $15, can't remember), and I swear it was so-o-o-o-o obviously not "fresh". The homemade Lobster Bisque (I think it was 7.99 for a bowl) could not possibly have been truly made from scatch.and it was more "essence of Lobster Bisque" because there was very little lobster (?) to be found. It was a pitiful presentation, and one cold bite was enough to warrant sending it back to the kitchen. I ordered the Fish Tacos (13.99) and got three tortillas, each semi-filled with scant lettuce, something akin to Pace Picante Sauce, and diced up frozen fish sticks-precious few pieces of "fish" at that. Unfortunately, it would seem that "fresh" fish is indicative of freshly-deepfried-SeaPak-mystery-fish. The signage directly outside the building guarantees fresh seafood, and the menu also touts "freshest fish" and "homemade" items. We visited Hanna's during Ocean City's "off-season" at lunch time, on a Saturday. A childrens menu is also available.Based on the billboards and advertisements in local guidebooks, I was very excited about eating at a restaurant rated amongst the top 100 in America. Sandwiches, appetizers, soups and salads are available day and night and our homemade breads and muffins are world famous. Our menu consists of local fresh fish, fresh seafood, crab cakes, all-you-can-eat Alaskan snow crab legs, pasta, poultry and Certified Angus Beef®. We offer plated and buffet options along with a variety of open bar packages. Banquet and meeting rooms are available year round. A tropical paradise on the water, enjoy a frozen beverage with your favorite appetizer or sandwich while surrounded by palm trees and cascading water falls. ![]() Our Tiki Bar is open from April to October.
